This was a beautiful home on an amazing lot is Croasdaile, in Durham, NC.  Lane and Sarah of Pally & Southard did an amazing job with the home to incorporate the natural light and openness of the rooms.

Real Estate Videography Raleigh NC

When it comes to selling your house quick, nothing beats an in-person walk through with prospective buyers...except Real Estate Videography!  That's because you'll get all the benefits that walk throughs have over photos alone (i.e. they're more immersive & inspirational), PLUS you get to use the powers of video production to avoid the potential pitfalls of walk throughs (ex. noisy neighbors or pets).

Essentially, virtual tours are the best of both worlds!  Whether you're a realtor or you're selling your own home, for the cost - Real Estate Videography is one of the best marketing tools at your disposal.  For me, pricing starts at $350 per house.  Check out a few of the videos below and you'll see a whole new way to market a home for sale (or to showcase your interior design work, architecture, staging, or building company).

Neoclassical Revival in Durham NC

One of the more interesting real estate photography shoots I have ever done, 1010 Homer definitely leaves an impression on you.  A write-up from the website:  "This house is said to be the most prominent symbol of economic recovery in Forest Hills after the Great Depression. William Muirhead, who founded Muirhead Construction Company in Durham, had architect George Watts Carr modify plans from the New York Times to create this stunning Neoclassical Revival. The house has an impressive, austere facade with distinctive European influence. The hipped copper roof, intricate exterior stone trim, and the polygonal metal window above the front door are only a hint of this home’s interior magnificence. Inside, rooms open from an impressive octagonal entrance hall and stunning Modernist details are featured throughout, including a two-story glass-block window wall at the rear elevation and flanking flat-roofed wings with roof decks. With a design like no other, 1010 Homer Street is one of Durham’s architectural gems."

Staging A House

If you're a homeowner looking for tips on how to sell your home fast, I have one word for you - staging.  There's simply nothing that sets up a quick sale quite like properly staging a house.  I hear you asking, "but, how much does it cost?"  Well actually, there are plenty of real estate staging companies that will do the job for you for a very reasonable price.  If you decide you want to go a more DIY route, most of these companies will also give you the option of simply taking their rental furniture & setting it up yourself.  Check out the video & pictures of home below if you want to see a perfect example of how to prepare your house for sale.

This house was offered by Courtney James and Urban Durham Realty.
