NC State Women's tennis team opens the J.W. Isenhower Tennis Center with a win against Wake Forest.

If you are like me and only see gymnastics every four years during the Olympics, you can do yourself a favor and get to your local university and catch up on what you are missing.  The athletes are incredible and spend half of their time in the air doing various flips and turns.  I see in each of them someone who my daughter can look up to as well.  The kids in the audience were a sight to behold as they were mesmerized by the skills displayed in front of them.  It has been ten years for me since the last time I saw NC State gymnastics, and know I will be checking it out again soon.

Down 41-14, win 56-41.  Wow.

It was Military Appreciation day at Carter Finley, and I was seriously pumped for the B2 (Stealth) flyover, but alas, it was too cloudy to see.  It was quite remarkable how quiet it was as I barely heard it flying above the stadium, so I knew it was there.  As for the visitors, South Alabama put up a good fight for that being their 20th football game is school history.  You can see a few more photos on my flickr site which is linked below.
